My homie, James, acquired some turntables, and now we’re trying to teach ourselves how to DJ. This is my first recorded scratching experiment, so I promise subsequent scratches will be better. This uses Xzibit’s instrumental from “Paparazzi” and the sound StarCraft 2 plays when you create a Reaper. Our inspiration comes from DJ Crinkles who also scratches with video game-related sound bytes, but he actually knows what he’s doing and sounds really good.

This sounds uglier every time I listen to it. No crossfading at all. This is what I call motivation to do better—much like that first time I did stand-up and bombed miserably.
